Jarro is now a Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® contractor!

Sponsored by the Long Island Power Authority (LIPA), Home Performance with ENERGY STAR is a home improvement program designed to save homeowners up to 40% on their monthly energy bills. As a participating contractor, Jarro has earned certification through the Building Performance Institute (BPI), a national resource for building science technology that sets standards for assessing and improving the energy performance of homes. BPI Accredited Home Performance Contractors use the most advanced state-of-the-art equipment to test the home and identify energy efficiency improvements.

Through participation in this Program, Jarro's building and remodeling professionals have been trained in taking a "whole-house" approach when testing homes and identifying necessary energy efficiency improvements.

By choosing Jarro as a participating, BPI Accredited Home Performance contractor, you've taken the first step toward making your home more energy efficient and comfortable!

Home Assessments

As part of the Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® program, Jarro Energy Services Corp. will perform a Comprehensive Home Assessment (CHA), which generally lasts one to three hours. The CHA provides you with the valuable information listed below regarding the existing condition of your home, and identifies areas where energy efficiency, comfort and safety improvements can be made.

• Carbon Monoxide levels and / or moisture problems
  
• Air infiltration rates | Insulation levels
  
• Heating & hot water system efficiency
  
• Distribution system (ductwork) - if applicable
  
• Lighting & major appliances
