Jarro Building Industries Ranked 73 of Qualified Remodeler 2010 Top 500
Jarro Building Industry has been ranked 73 in Qualified Remodeler Magazine's Top 500 list of remodeling firms for 2010. The annual list, published in the August 2010 issue, recognizes successful remodeling firms in terms of CPA-certified annual sales volume, total years in business, association memberships, certified employees on staff, industry awards and community service.(read more...) New Ground Honors Jarro Owner and PresidentRay Accettella, President and Owner of Jarro Building Industries was honored by New Ground at its 15th annual golf tournament, held at The Hamlet at Commack on June 14, 2010. New Ground honored Mr. Accettella for his many years of service to the organization. He has generously contributed both his money and his time in order to ensure its success in helping needy individuals on Long Island. This year's golf outing benefited the formerly homeless families and veterans in New Ground's Long Term Housing Program. The golf tournament in Mr. Accettella's honor was followed by a well-attended cocktail honor and a lavish buffet attended by many of Long Island's most noteworthy and charitable citizens. Once again, Jarro Building Industries Corp. is proud to have been voted "Best of Long Island" for contracting and handyman services by readers of the Long Island Press. Jarro received 1st place in the "Best Handyman" category and 2nd place in the "Best Contractor" category.This marks the third year in a row that Jarro has won "Best of Long Island." Last year, the company was voted a finalist in both the "Contractors" and "Handyman" categories. The year before that, Jarro won in the "Handyman" category (there was no "Contractor" category that year.) (read more...)
Creative Addition Earns Jarro Contractor of the Year HonorsWhen Jarro helped a Long Island funeral home add space and enhance the charm of its property, the project was such a resounding success that the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) awarded a Gold Contractor of the Year to Jarro. The project was conceived as an exterior renovation to the existing two-story structure. The owner wanted to renovate and revitalize the building's exterior to add warmth to a previously commercial looking facade. As the architectural firm of Wax Ferraro of Lynbrook, NY, researched the project, they realized that the funeral home could incorporate an adjacent parcel of land it owned that contained an abandoned commercial building. The owner heeded their advice, demolished the abandoned building and expanded the project to include an addition to the existing funeral home, as well additional on-site parking. (read more...)
Jarro Wins Platinum Contractor of the YearThe dream outdoor kitchen and deck Jarro built for this East Islip, NY, client also resonated with the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI), winning the company the Contractor of the Year Platinum Award for Exterior Specialty projects. These clients knew exactly what they wanted - before looking at contractors they looked at magazines and books to determine what they liked, designed their U-shaped kitchen area, and incorporated a hand-made half wagon wheel into the decor. Jarro was the right choice for these visionary homeowners who were looking for a company to listen to their needs, make their dream come true, and do so within a specific timeframe. (read more...)
